It's been just over a year since we first heard of a virus sweeping through a country on the other side of the globe. It didn't take long for COVID-19 to land right in our back yards, causing a public health emergency most of us have never experienced. It's been a painful time in our world's history and continues to be an evolving crisis. While the pandemic has forced many people to learn a new vocabulary, it's also brought new meaning to old terms like "infection control."
One of our proudest accomplishments is the diverse team we have today. At Safetec, we not only encourage you to be yourself, but we also celebrate our differences. Our culture at Safetec is about having a safe and welcoming environment where people feel comfortable to do their best work. We often refer to our employees as the heart of Safetec, and you can feel it beating when you step into our facilities.
Safetec started in 1992 with just one product, a medical liquid waste solidifier to prevent the transmission of bloodborne pathogens, mainly HIV. Since then, Safetec has grown steadily, not only in our product catalog but also in size. Thanks in part to customer-driven new product development and the ever-increasing need for infection control products, we are growing again!
Here at Safetec of America, Inc., we're always looking for industry leaders who are just as excited about the Safetec brand as we are. We're excited to announce our new partnership with Aseptic Control Products. Aseptic will serve as a Master Distributor for all Safetec brand products, especially for p.a.w.s. Antimicrobial Hand Wipes, which is how this partnership began.
Safetec of America, Inc. is excited to announce that we’ve been undergoing renovations at our company headquarters located at 887 Kensington Ave., Buffalo, NY. This renovation project started in June and is projected to complete by the end of the year.
We wanted to share with you what our team is thankful for this year.
For 25 years, Safetec has been running as a team for countless days and nights as a company dedicated to health safety and effectiveness. Scott Weinstein, the CEO/President of Safetec states, “The key is to have great people and to satisfy our customers. That is what differentiates us and that is our success story.”
